Important news for July/August

Dear Clients and Supporters,

It's almost summer, so we know that means holidays, traveling, family time, summer camps (for kids and dogs!), and of course, changing schedules.

We are kindly asking that if you will be away for any length of time this summer, please let us know as far in advance as you can. This will help things run smoothly from our end, and ensure we don't overbook/underbook.

Please don't forget to cancel a walk 24 hrs ahead of time to avoid being billed!

We also have some big news! We are excited to bring on a new dog walker for the summer months; please welcome Nicole Lewis! Nicole is a Park Slope native, and currently lives in Bay Ridge, Brooklyn with her 12 year old pup Chloe, a sweet Chow/Lab mix she rescued as a puppy. She also has a turtle affectionally known as Squirtle. During the year, Nicole teaches preschoolers at Beansprouts Nursery School in Park Slope, and is studying towards her Master's in Early Childhood Education at Brooklyn College.

From Nicole: "I have walked dogs and pet sat for both dogs and cats for over 15 years. I love animals and children, their innocence, and the unconditional love they show, which is like no other thing in the world. I always say hello to dogs on the street (owners must think I'm crazy). Im excited to join Hair of the Dog Walkers and meet new furry friends!"

A reminder: we will be closed on Wednesday July 4th!
Stay tuned for more summer updates!
